Track & Field XC
Team Overview
Manchester Lions TRACK & FIELD XC team offers our students the opportunity to develop skills in all three wellness domains (physical, social, mental/emotional). Our program provides innovative skills training in nuero muscular development, utilization of levers (simple machines) anatomically, and running and field events.
Team Highlights
XC is returning some experienced runners with the addition of some very promising new comers! It’s going to be a great season! Track and Field will have a great season with competitive athletes in the disciplines of distance running, sprinting, jumping, throwing, and hurdling! Go Lions!!
Pre-season
XC conditioning begins 9/6/22 all students are welcome! XC practice schedule: M, T, Th 2:05 – 4 p.m. Meets will be on Wednesday.
Track and Field fall training and conditioning will begin 9/12/22. Training days: Mondays 2:05 – 4 p.m.
All students who participate in sports that are in off season are encouraged to attend!
Season Information
XC season spans from 9/14/22 – 10/24/22. Winter Track and Field will span from November – February Spring Track and Field will span from March – June
Tryout Information
All students are eligible to participate with a current physical, passing grades in all subjects.
